MvA No I don’t, let’s get down to brass taps. I’m pumping it up this week. We’re going to lay down our usual $50 courtesy of Betstar on a few bets then another $50 to make up for the Christmas break.
MS Understood. I’ll start with $10 on Wellington and Brisbane to draw, it’s paying $3.25.
MvA That is a big-big game, but most are now in the old HAL. I’m tipping Newcastle to knock-off the Victory, just because they seem to go alright against Merrick’s mob. That said, I’m sure I’ll get an email with stats refuting that… either way I’ve got $20 on the Jets at $2.54.
MS I disagree totally. I’ve got a margin bet on Melbourne to win 2-0, $10 down to win $110.
MvA Fair enough, just for a safe one I’ve got Leeds to win in League One against Wycombe Wanderers for $10 at odds of $1.22. And I’m putting some skin on the African Cup with Ghana to draw with Togo, which is paying $3.60, I’m down for $10.
MS I’m staying in Oz. I’ve got Adelaide losing to the Gold Coast 3-0. I’ve slapped down $10 and it’s paying $10, so another $100 goes in the bank there big guy.
MvA If one of these comes off you’re laughing… but they won’t! My growing Liverpool pessimism has led me to back Spurs to beat them at Anfield - $5 at $4.20. And I’ve also got the draw at $3.35 for a fiver. What odds can we get on Rafa seeing out the season? That’s the real bet.
MS My next one’s in the EPL too - I’ve got Everton to beat Arsenal at $8.20, for a $20 investment.
MvA Oh dear. Mancini is there, it won’t happen Sterg.
MS Stranger things have happened shagger. I’ve got $20 on Wolves beating West Ham at $4.20. Plus I’m on Blackburn to beat Man City for $20 at a $7.90 dividend.
