Avoiding the Krispy Kremes

MvA  I got Krispy Kreme donuts last time on the punt so I’ve gotta go for a few sure things just to get some cash in the kitty. 

MS  Likewise V-Man, but I don’t play it safe like you. I’m backing the Fury to beat the Jets in Newcastle for $15 at $3.60.

MvA  Mmm… Not sure that’s gonna come off for you. The Australian ‘Super Classico’ is on Saturday between Victory and the ‘Sky Blues’ and I think it’ll be a good one, given table positions and the fact that it’s become a bit of a two-horse race for the Premiership with Gold Coast’s patchy few months. I’m slapping $20 at $2.15 on Victory to win just ‘cause it’s at home. 

MS I’ve got $15 on Paul Ifill to be the first goalscorer for the Phoenix in Adelaide which is paying $8.50. 

MvA I’m on that game too. I reckon Wellington can roll Adelaide at Hindmarsh. They’re paying $3.30 and they get $15 of my bankroll.

MS I can’t believe that Sunderland is paying $6.80 to roll Man City. I know it’s far from a sure thing but they aren’t half bad and Man City are… well… not crash hot despite their payroll. I’ve got $20 on their nose.

MvA  I’m looking at Italy where your old mate Bresh is tearing it up. Palermo are at home to Siena this week and I’ll wager $15 on them at $1.62.
