Second Week Blues Hover Over Our Crack Punters

They were flying high after week one, but it was down to earth for SI’s experts last week. Thanks to Betstar, we again find out where van Aken and Stergiopoulos’ money is this weekend.

MvA  Okay, it was a fairly lean round for us both last week, but we at least made some money for the Johnny Warren Foundation.

MS  Yeah well, it’s lucky that Betstar are helping us out with the promotion, because if it were our own money we’d be down.

MvA  Well, that’s the deal, thanks Mr Eskander and the Betstar crew. So, to this weekend, what tickles your fancy?

MS  I’m going local, Jets to beat Adelaide, $10 to win at $3.85.

MvA  He who dares Stergi - I’m putting all the A-League home teams to win in a multi for $20 - it’s returning $454.05.

MS  Not bad, but you’ve thrown a few eggs in one basket.

MvA He - who - dares.

MS  Rightio. In England I’ve got Portsmouth to beat Wolves for $10, which is paying $3.50.

MvA It’s the Red in me I know, but Liverpool look fat at $3.45, albeit away to Chelsea, I’m down for $10.

MS  Go Blues! I’ve got Stoke to beat my boys Everton at Goodison, which is paying $6.20 for a $10 stake.

MvA  Like your faith in Neverton… you boys are back in form, Timmy’s banging home goals… no faith, I love it! I think we’ll see a draw at Villa Park between the Villains and Man City. I’ve gone $10 at $3.25.

MS  You hope it’s a draw! My last one is a multi-bet for $20. It’s Charlton to beat Leeds with Sunderland to beat Man United, which is paying $56.55.

MvA  Soo that will pay about a million if it comes off - which it won’t.

MS  What were you saying? He who dares?

MvA  My last tenner goes to the continent, where I’m grabbing Inter Milan in a half-time, full-time double. It’s paying $2.10.

MS  And they’re playing?

MvA Oh yeah, they’ve got Udinese at San Siro… money in the bank.
