After a scratchy start, Robbie Fowler's cream is quickly rising to the top.

His frustration in the opening rounds of the season might have earned him Soccer International's Tool of the Month for his kick-out at Gold Coast's Anderson, but the Liverpool legend has made headlines in the last few weeks for all the right reasons.

Showing the leadership Ian Ferguson and the Fury have asked from him, Fowler capped off a brilliant game with a goal right out of the top shelf to earn Soccer International Harvey Norman Player of the Week honours for Round 5.

Fowler is now in the running for the Soccer International Harvey Norman Player of the Month and the Soccer International Harvey Norman Player of the Year. Keep checking the site each week to see who has grabbed themselves our weekly nod.
