March 1973 - Born in Innisfail in Far North Queensland.
September 1990 - After a stint at the AIS, links with NSL powerhouse Marconi Stallions.
July 1992 - Is part of the Olyroos team that reaches the last four at Barcelona ’92.
April 1993 - Becomes the only Australian footballer to represent the green and gold at Under 17, 20, 23 and senior level when he debuts for the Socceroos in a friendly against Kuwait.
May 1993 - Tops off a Grand Final win with Marconi by being named the Under 21 Player of the Year.
August 1995 - After making the European trek, scores on debut for Leicester City in the English First Division.
February 1996 - Makes multi-million dollar move to Wolverhampton where he will go on to make more than 100 appearances.
July 1996 - Becomes a dual-Olympian with the Olyroos in Atlanta.
May 2000 - Enjoys a career sea change linking with Japanese side Sanfrecce Hiroshima where he will the net 14 times in 43 matches.
September 2004 - After returning to English football with Walsall in 2002, is released from his contract and shortly after links with fledgling Sydney FC.
March 2006 - Is an integral part of Sydney FC’s dazzling inaugural season culminating in a Grand Final win at a packed SFS.
August 2006 - Makes his 32nd and most probably final appearance for the Socceroos in an Asian qualifier against Kuwait - the circle is complete!
